TCC is seeking a Staff Development Specialist to design, develop, and deliver high-quality training content for Care Management staff, ensuring alignment with regulatory requirements and organizational goals.

Qualifications

  • Experience conducting training.
  • Experience with training development.
  • Experience with OPWDD training requirements, preferred.
  • Bachelor's degree with preference for two years of relevant experience, OR Master's degree with one year of relevant experience.

Responsibilities

  • Translate complex workflows and policies into clear training content.

  • Occasionally travel to TCC offices for live training.

Job description

TheroleoftheStaffDevelopment Specialist istosupport organizational excellence and strengthen workforce readiness by promoting consistency in Care Management practices and supporting high-quality outcomes for individuals. This role designs, develops, and delivers high quality, engaging training content and learning resources for staff, in alignment with regulatory requirements, best practices, and organizational goals.

Requirements
  • Responsible for the continuous development and delivery of TCC's training curriculum, modules, and materials.
  • Facilitates the scheduling, preparation and presentation of regularly scheduled training materials to the workforce, in collaboration with other departments.
  • Translates complex workflows, regulations and policies into clear, digestible, engaging and retainable training content for staff.
  • Develops and implements post-training knowledge checks to measure effectiveness and collaborate with relevant departments to implement follow up strategies based on actionable feedback.
  • Assists with the preparation of content/slides and participate in the bi-weekly Care Manager Informational Webinar a appropriate.
  • Conducts live training as assigned, including potential travel to TCC offices.
  • Supports staff development initiatives, such as data collection and analysis leading to development of ongoing learning pathways.
  • Provides mentoring or support to the workforce as needed or requested.
  • Responsible for the daily review of the inquiries submitted to the Training Department email inbox, and to ensure timely responses.
  • Assists with maintenance and documentation activities within SharePoint, Absorb, and other agency systems as determined appropriate
  • Responds to all inquiries and requests within 24 hours.
  • Provides coverage as needed to assist in the collaborative team approach of training and mentoring newly hired Care Managers assigned to CMT Supervisor colleagues.
  • Maintains an up-to-date Outlook calendar to accurately reflect work-related appointments and availability.
  • Assists with specialty projects which may include updating policy documents needed.
  • Participation in external meetings as needed, including but not limited to, IAC Training Meetings, and other collaborative trainings.
  • Participates in mandatory staff meetings.
  • Performs other activities, as assigned, to support overall organization's goals and objectives.
