Job summary

DOCS Dermatology Group seeks a Care Management Coordinator to provide pathology and prior authorization support, ensuring effective treatment, monitoring, and communication for a positive patient experience.

You will monitor pathology reports, manage data logs, and coordinate with the clinical team across offices to streamline workflows and improve patient care. This role is essential to maintain accuracy and efficiency in our multidisciplinary setting.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• 1-2 years of pathology or lab experience preferred.
• Knowledge of medical terminology is helpful.
• Highly organized with strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Self-motivated to deliver high-quality patient care and service.

Responsibilities

• Monitor pathology reports and coordinate next steps with the clinical team.
• Coordinate communication with patients and the clinical team; manage messages.
• Maintain and update the pathology results log and report monthly.
• Own and update the results log and the biologic Excel log as changes occur.
• Coordinate with drug companies for prior authorizations and related communications.
• Identify opportunities for efficiencies, standardization, and training with Regional Operations Director.
• Support the clinical and prior authorization teams by updating forms and ensuring documentation is complete.
• Maintain a safe, secure, and healthy work environment; follow standards and procedures.
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.
