Healthcare Services Group (HCSG) is hiring a Cook to prepare and cook nutritious meals for residents in a long-term care facility. You will follow planned menus, ensure quality and presentation, and maintain a clean kitchen while adhering to safety guidelines.

The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, prior cooking experience, and the ability to handle dietary restrictions. Certifications like ServSafe/Food Handler may be required by state law, with residency within the service area

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience as a cook or in food preparation preferred.
• Ability to follow recipes and dietary restrictions.
• Good communication with building occupants, administration, and staff.
• COVID-19 vaccination policy compliance.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods.
• May need to complete a sanitation/safety course.
• Current ServSafe or Food Handler certification per state/county law.
• Residency within the service area required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook meals according to planned menus and recipes.
• Ensure food quality, taste, and presentation meet standards.
• Adhere to food safety and sanitation guidelines; maintain a clean kitchen.
• Assist with inventory management and ordering of supplies.
• Interact positively with residents, staff, and guests, providing excellent customer service.
