Job summary

Healthcare Services Group (HCSG) is seeking a Cook to prepare and cook nutritious meals for residents in a long-term care facility. You will help ensure meals meet planned menus, taste, and presentation standards while delivering friendly, person-centered service.

This role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, basic cooking experience, ability to follow recipes and dietary restrictions, and adherence to food safety guidelines.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Prior cook or food prep experience preferred.
• Ability to follow recipes and dietary restrictions.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook meals according to planned menus and recipes.
• Ensure food quality, taste, and presentation meet standards.
• Adhere to food safety and sanitation guidelines; maintain a clean kitchen.
• Assist with inventory management and ordering of supplies.
• Interact positively with residents, staff, and guests, providing excellent customer service.
• All other duties as assigned.
