Job summary

Healthcare Services Group (HCSG) is hiring a Cook to prepare and cook nutritious meals for residents in a long-term care facility. You will follow menus, ensure quality and presentation, and uphold strict food-safety standards, while working with a team to deliver exceptional resident experiences.

Strong teamwork, dependability, and the ability to operate in a kitchen environment are essential. A ServSafe or Food Handler certification may be required by local laws.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• ServSafe or Food Handler certification may be required by state/county law.
• Previous cook/food preparation experience is preferred.
• Ability to follow recipes and dietary restrictions.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook meals according to planned menus and recipes.
• Ensure food quality, taste, and presentation meet standards.
• Adhere to food safety and sanitation guidelines; maintain a clean kitchen.
• Assist with inventory management and ordering of supplies.
• Interact positively with residents, staff, and guests, providing excellent customer service.
• All other duties as assigned.
