Job summary

Healthcare Services Group (HCSG) seeks a Cook to prepare and cook nutritious meals for residents in a long-term care facility. You will follow planned menus and recipes and contribute to a safe, clean kitchen environment.

Focus on quality, presentation, and positive interactions with residents and staff. Prior cooking experience is preferred; ServSafe or Food Handler certification may be required by state law.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous cook experience preferred.
• Ability to follow recipes and dietary restrictions.
• Maintain a clean and organized kitchen while following safety guidelines.
• Must comply with COVID-19 vaccination policies.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook meals according to planned menus and recipes.
• Ensure food quality, taste, and presentation meet HCSG standards.
• Adhere to food safety and sanitation guidelines; maintain a clean and orderly kitchen.
• Assist with inventory management and ordering of supplies.
• Interact positively with residents, staff, and guests, providing excellent customer service.
• All other duties as assigned.
