Job summary

Ochsner is seeking a materials management professional to support inventory receiving, issuing, and central supply duties. You will generate monthly reports, resolve order discrepancies, and collaborate across facilities to ensure high service levels.

Candidates should have a high school diploma (associate degree preferred) and demonstrate strong computer, communication, and interpersonal skills. Flexibility to travel between locations and work varied shifts is required.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in using computers, software, and web-based applications.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills and ability to present information clearly and professionally.
• Strong interpersonal skills.
• Ability to travel throughout and between facilities and work flexible schedule (24/7, weekend, holiday, on call availability).

Responsibilities

• Monitors customer service email and phone line to maintain service levels.
• Generates and analyzes monthly productivity and supply chain reports to improve efficiency.
• Ensures inventory and purchase orders are accurately received, issued, and returned.
• Trains new employees on receiving and central supply duties and responsibilities.
• Resolves errors with receipts, customer orders, and/or par levels.
• Works to improve supply chain processes, metrics, and customer satisfaction.
• Identifies and addresses internal and external customer needs.
