Job summary

Ochsner Health is seeking a warehouse and materials handler to process and distribute supplies across hospital departments. You will maintain inventory, restock, and deliver items to designated locations, while ensuring accurate records and logs.

Responsibilities include cycle counts, receiving shipments, and maintaining par levels. Candidates should have a high school diploma and be able to travel between facilities; forklift certification is a plus.

Qualifications

Requires strong computer and software familiarity for order processing and inventory tasks.
Excellent verbal and written communication; professional interaction with hospital staff.
Good interpersonal skills and ability to work in a team.
Must be able to travel between facilities and work a flexible schedule (including nights, weekends, and holidays).

Responsibilities

Maintain storeroom inventory and cleanliness; ensure accurate charging and logging of deliveries.
Organize delivery carts by destination; deliver items per receiving report.
Inspect and receive deliveries for hospital, clinic, and administrative areas.
Perform cycle counts and participate in end-of-year inventories.
Assist in general housekeeping and support duties as needed.
