Ochsner Health is seeking a Materials Handler to process and distribute supplies and equipment across hospital departments. You will receive shipments, maintain par levels, restock, rotate supplies, decontaminate reusable items, and assist in inventory processes.

The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, strong computer skills, and the ability to travel between facilities. Forklift certification may be required depending on location.

Formación

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Proficiency with computers, software, and web-based applications.
• Strong verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to travel between facilities and work a flexible schedule.

Responsabilidades

• Maintain inventory and cleanliness in storeroom and par locations.
• Ensure supplies are accurately charged when removing from inventory.
• Organize delivery carts according to locations and deliver items as per receiving report.
• Maintain delivery logs and obtain signatures for deliveries.
• Inspect and receive deliveries for hospital, clinic, and administrative areas.
• Handle annual inventories and cycle counts.
• Process internal and external customer requests and deliveries.
