Advanced Physical Therapy in Leawood, KS is seeking a Full Time Front Desk Medical Receptionist to join our South Leawood team. You will welcome patients, manage scheduling, verify insurance, and handle payments with professionalism.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1+ year of customer-facing or patient-facing experience.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks while staying organized and detail-oriented.
• Comfortable communicating on the phone with professionalism.
• Basic computer proficiency and scheduling software familiarity.
• No prior medical experience required; training provided.

Responsabilités

• Create a welcoming, professional first impression for patients, visitors, and referral sources.
• Manage front desk operations including patient check-in/check-out, scheduling, insurance verification, and phone calls.
• Review, schedule, and follow up on referrals by gathering information and updating patient records.
• Maintain patient flow by confirming appointments, managing waitlists, and handling cancellations.
• Collect copays and payments accurately, with basic reconciliation when needed.
• Uphold HIPAA standards in all front desk interactions and documentation.
