Sabates Eye Centers is seeking a Medical Receptionist (Patient Coordinator) in Leawood, KS. The role handles front-desk duties, checks patients in and out, verifies insurances, and supports physicians and staff. You will interact with patients and coordinate with the office to ensure smooth visits.

Open Monday–Friday 8am–5pm, some Saturdays, travel between multiple Kansas City locations is required. A strong customer-service mindset and basic computer skills are essential for success.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• At least 1 year of related experience or training.
• Proficient with basic computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and check them in/out for appointments.
• Verify medical and vision insurances.
• Communicate effectively with patients, doctors and managers.
• Answer inquiries via phone, email, and in person.
• Provide exceptional customer service in every interaction.
