• Willingness to learn the home care industry and follow established processes.
• Flexibility to support scheduling needs during occasional evenings, weekends, holidays, or other high-demand periods.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate caregiver schedules for clients receiving in-home care, ensuring shifts are covered by qualified caregivers who fit client needs.
• Manage daily home care scheduling, including new service requests, schedule changes, caregiver availability, call-outs, and last-minute coverage.
• Match caregivers with clients by considering availability, experience, care needs, personality, preferences, and continuity of care.
• Communicate with clients, family members, and caregivers by phone, email, and text to confirm schedules, answer questions, and resolve concerns.
• Keep client and caregiver schedules, records, notes, and other information accurate and up to date in our scheduling software.
• Look ahead, identify potential scheduling gaps, and work proactively to prevent problems before they affect a client's care.
