Job summary

Qualifications

• 2 years’ experience as a medical assistant, office assistant or related experience.

Responsibilities

• Evaluates patients and coordinates services per benefit plan.
• Communicates health care service delivery based on nurse/medical director notes.
• Maintains documentation to meet regulatory requirements.
• Handles calls from providers and members and routes referrals appropriately.
• Assists in obtaining discharge dates and referrals for follow-up.
• Performs independent work with adherence to guidelines.
• Operates with urgency to meet changing needs while maintaining quality.
