Job summary

BrightStar Care of Sugar Land, TX is seeking a dedicated Client Care Coordinator to schedule field staff and coordinate care for clients, ensuring a Higher Standard of Care.

The role requires strong communication, HIPAA knowledge, and the ability to triage priorities. Prior caregiver or CNA experience is a plus.

You will participate in on-call coverage and support clients and staff with issues, while maintaining accurate time reporting and payroll records.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of scheduling/staffing experience in home care or health care.
• CNA/HHA experience preferred.
• Proficiency with Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• HIPAA knowledge and healthcare regulations

Responsibilities

• Schedules field staff for skilled nursing visits
• Assists clients and field staff with issues
• Answers incoming calls
• Assists with the intake of new clients and informs potential clients of services
• Check client benefits and track authorizations
• Monitors daily time reports for payroll processing
• Shares on-call phone for evenings and weekends, managing problems and staffing call outs
