Job summary

VNS Health is seeking a Scheduling Coordinator to maintain patient visit schedules, coordinate with clinicians, and ensure compliance with SOPs. The role involves clerical tasks, data entry, and frontline customer interaction in a fast-paced home care setting.

Work under supervision while participating in scheduling, process coordination notes, and handling PTO and schedule changes to optimize staffing and patient satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Associate's Degree or equivalent required.
• Minimum two years of administrative/general office experience with heavy customer interaction.
• Proficient PC skills including MS Word, Outlook and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Maintain patient schedules according to Plan of Care, and update follow-up changes as directed by a licensed clinician/manager.
• Assign and reassign visits to clinicians to balance workload and maximize staffing resources.
• Process clinician unplanned PTO promptly according to SOP guidelines.
• Complete scheduling tasks and generate required reports per SOP.
• Review service codes and ensure buddy codes are set up for visit needs to ensure compliance.
