Job summary

International SOS Government Medical Services is seeking a part-time patient services coordinator to support veterans' access to primary and specialty care. You will manage inbound and outbound calls in a centralized healthcare call center, verify eligibility, and document interactions in the MHS GENESIS system.

The role emphasizes professional, responsive customer service, accurate scheduling, and coordination across healthcare departments in a mission-driven environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Basic computer skills with ability to use Microsoft 365 (Teams, Excel, Outlook).
• Ability to deliver courteous, professional customer service by phone and written communication.
• Strong multitasking with adherence to procedures and deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Schedule, reschedule, and cancel appointments for primary and specialty care.
• Handle inbound and outbound calls supporting timely appointment coordination.
• Verify patient eligibility and update demographics for accurate scheduling.
• Coordinate specialty referrals and preventive health scheduling, including pre-appointment instructions.
• Process appointment requests via secure messaging and document in MHS GENESIS.
• Maintain accurate records and privacy standards across departments.
