Job summary

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree and 3+ years in pharma sales, with preference for cardiovascular experience and payor-market exposure.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences, Business or a related field.
• 3+ years of pharmaceutical/biopharmaceutical sales experience.
• 2+ years of cardiovascular/cardiometabolic sales experience preferred.
• Experience in highly managed, payor-controlled markets is strongly preferred.
• Consistent track record of top-tier sales accomplishments.
• Experience calling on assigned targets in the designated territory geography highly desired.

Responsibilities

• Achieve and/or exceed targeted sales goals in an assigned territory by developing, implementing and executing an integrated territory business plan.
• Establish and maintain professional relationships with targeted physicians to maximize new business opportunities.
• Succeed in a complex, matrixed selling environment with cross-functional collaboration with FRMs, TLLs, Market Access, Medical, Marketing and Operations.
• Identify key influencers and achieve designated customer interaction expectations with top targets.
• Use data tools and insights to determine strategies and tactics for business decision-making.
• Demonstrate account-based selling skills including group presentations.
• Plan and organize activities for regular territory coverage and action plans.
• Manage territory budget to support sales and marketing activities.
• Complete all administrative tasks in a timely manner.
• Execute the company’s brand strategy and tactics within the assigned geographic area.
• Participate in training and development programs.
• Comply with all legal, regulatory and compliance policies with integrity and professionalism.
