Job summary

Qualifications

• High School Graduate or GED.
• Six months direct customer service in a health care field.
• Fluent English—read, write, speak.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook and Teams.

Responsibilities

• Responds to a high-volume of incoming calls and provides exam information.
• Educates patients on medical records and insurance verification procedures.
• Schedules appointments, verifies orders/referrals, and processes requests.
• Supports MyChart activation and online check-in workflows for patients.
• Collects point-of-service payments and ensures patient privacy and proper documentation.
• Maintains scheduling protocols and manages department inbasket/voicemails.
