Job summary

Syneos Health is seeking a Cardiovascular Sales Representative to drive territory growth in Cleveland, OH. You will develop and execute integrated territory plans, build relationships with targeted physicians, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to maximize market opportunities.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years of pharma sales, a life sciences or related degree, strong analytical and communication skills, and the ability to travel as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Life Sciences, Business or a related field.
• 3+ years of pharmaceutical/biopharmaceutical sales experience.
• 2+ years of cardiovascular/cardiometabolic sales strongly preferred.
• Experience in highly managed, payor-controlled markets is strongly preferred.
• Consistent track record of documented top-tier sales accomplishments.
• Experience calling on assigned targets in the designated territory geography highly desired.
• Experience launching products in competitive marketplace.
• Ability to learn complex scientific information, apply technical proficiency and effectively communicate.
• Must be self-motivated and able to work with a high level of autonomy and independence.
• Strong technical & analytical skills including proficiency with CRM, AI tools and Microsoft Office Suite.
• A valid driver's license and ability to travel as needed, which may include overnight and/or weekend travel.

Responsibilities

• Achieve and/or exceed targeted sales goals in an assigned territory by developing, implementing and executing an integrated territory business plan encompassing key customers and accounts with the goal of maximizing sales.
• Establish and maintain professional relationships with targeted physicians to maximize new business opportunities.
• Achieve success in a complex, matrixed selling environment in which the need for collaboration and cross-functional discipline is critical. Cross-functional partners may consist of FRMs, TLLs, Market Access, Medical, Marketing and Operations colleagues.
• Identify key influencers and achieve designated customer interaction expectations with a focus on top target customers.
• Use data tools and insights, and other informational sources such as next best action, to determine strategies and tactics for business decision‑making.
• Demonstrate account-based selling skills (including group presentations, etc.).
• Plan and organize activities to ensure regular and consistent coverage of the territory according to a plan of action.
• Manage territory budget to support sales and marketing activities.
• Complete all administrative tasks in a timely manner.
• Execute the company's brand strategy and tactics within their assigned geographic area.
• Participation in training and development programs.
• Comply with all legal, regulatory and compliance policies and demonstrate a high level of integrity and professionalism at all times.
