Job summary

Syneos Health, Inc. in Costa Mesa, CA, is seeking a Cardiovascular Sales Representative to achieve sales goals within an assigned geography.

You will develop and execute territory strategies, build relationships with physicians, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive results. The ideal candidate has 3+ years in pharma/biopharma sales, cardiovascular experience preferred, strong analytical and communication skills, and the ability to travel as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Life Sciences, Business or related field.
• 3+ years of pharmaceutical/biopharmaceutical sales experience.
• 2+ years of cardiovascular/cardiometabolic sales preferred.
• Experience in highly managed, payor-controlled markets preferred.
• Strong communication, analytical, and autonomous working style.

Responsibilities

• Achieve and/exceed sales goals in assigned territory by developing, implementing and executing an integrated territory business plan.
• Establish and maintain professional relationships with targeted physicians to maximize new business opportunities.
• Achieve success in a complex, matrixed selling environment requiring cross-functional collaboration with FRMs, TLLs, Market Access, Medical, Marketing and Operations.
• Identify key influencers and achieve designated customer interaction expectations with top targets.
• Use data tools and insights to determine strategies and tactics for business decisions.
• Demonstrate account-based selling skills and present to groups when needed.
• Plan and organize activities to ensure regular coverage of the territory according to plan of action.
• Manage territory budget to support sales and marketing activities.
• Complete administrative tasks in a timely manner.
• Execute the company’s brand strategy within the assigned geographic area.
• Participation in training and development programs.
• Comply with legal, regulatory, and compliance policies with integrity.
