Job summary

Syneos Health Commercial Solutions seeks a Strategic Business Director to lead strategic launch efforts for a cardiovascular product in critical care. This field-based role engages hospital systems, IDNs, and GPOs to drive adoption and market access.

The individual will collaborate with marketing, medical, HEOR, and contracting teams, travel extensively, and report to the Area Business Director, shaping execution in institutional channels.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• 10+ years pharmaceutical/biotech experience.
• 7+ years with academic health systems, IDNs, or GPOs (Critical Care/Cardiology).
• Contract management experience.
• Strong knowledge of Managed Care coverage and reimbursement.
• Experience collaborating across marketing, medical, field teams, and market access functions.

Responsibilities

• Drive business development and product adoption within academic institutions, IDNs, and GPOs.
• Build and maintain detailed account profiles with protocols, pull-through targets, and key influencers.
• Collaborate across Managed Markets, Trade, Value Access, Contracting, Medical, HEOR, Marketing.
• Engage pharmacy directors, medical directors, P&T committees, contracting managers, service line directors, and clinical staff.
• Work with Account Managers, Area Sales Directors, MSLs, and colleagues.
• Partner with National Account Managers and Managed Markets leadership on contracts and pricing.
