Job summary

Syneos Health Commercial Solutions is seeking a Strategic Business Director to lead cardiovascular product launch in critical care. You will engage academic health systems, IDNs, and GPOs to drive adoption and market access, reporting to the Area Business Director and coordinating with account managers and MSLs.

You will operate in a highly strategic, field-based capacity with significant travel, leveraging cross-functional teams to shape contracts, pricing, and HEOR interactions.

Qualifications

• 10+ years pharmaceutical/biotech experience.
• 7+ years with large academic health systems, IDNs, or GPOs in Cardiology or Critical Care.
• Strong knowledge of Managed Care coverage and product reimbursement.
• Experience collaborating across marketing, medical, field teams and market access functions.
• Understanding of EMR systems, CPOE, and order set development.
• Ability to travel more than 50%.
• Cardiology and/or startup pharma experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Drive business development and product adoption within academic institutions, IDNs, and GPOs.
• Build and maintain account profiles, including protocols and influencers.
• Collaborate cross-functionally across Managed Markets, Trade, HEOR, and Contracting.
• Engage directors and committees to support adoption and access.
