Job summary

Amgen is seeking a Cardiovascular Key Account Manager to join the US sales team and drive cardiovascular product utilization within major health systems. You will diagnose account environments, build strategic plans, and develop influential relationships with Hospital Pharmacy, Cardiovascular, and finance decision-makers.

You will partner with field teams and medical science liaisons to align brand strategies, deliver MAC-approved data, and lead pull-through initiatives in a dynamic market.

Qualifications

• Doctorate, Masters or Bachelor’s degree with substantial sales/account-management experience in healthcare.
• Ability to develop strategic account plans for complex health-system environments.
• Experience presenting data and insights to senior stakeholders.
• Strong cross-functional collaboration abilities.

Responsibilities

• Assess and diagnose the business environment for assigned Cardiovascular accounts.
• Develop relationships with hospital and health-system decision-makers.
• Lead account plans and pull-through initiatives to optimize product utilization.
• Coordinate with matrix teams and external partners to execute programs.
• Present MAC-approved data and ensure compliant delivery across policies.
• Monitor account performance and market dynamics, identifying barriers and opportunities.
