Job summary

Amgen is seeking a Cardiovascular Key Account Manager to lead strategic account plans and drive portfolio utilization in hospital and health-system settings across the Central & Gulf Coast region. You will work with matrix teams and external customers to optimize product access and performance.

The role emphasizes cross-functional collaboration with medical science liaisons, field sales, and access partners to deliver patient-ready strategies and data-driven insights.

Qualifications

• Doctorate degree & 2 years of sales experience and/or related account management experience
• Master’s degree & 4 years of sales experience and/or related account management experience
• Bachelor’s degree & 6 years of sales experience and/or related account management experience
• 3+ years of account management and/or public payor experience strongly preferred
• Cardiology experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Serve as strategic lead for assigned key accounts with compliant, innovative strategies
• Ensure institutional availability across inpatient and ambulatory care settings
• Lead implementation initiatives for sustainable utilization
• Develop and execute account plans aligned to CVBU strategy
• Collaborate with field teams and MSLs for aligned messaging
• Build relationships with hospital decision-makers across Cardiology and related areas
• Coordinate with Access Specialists to support portfolio access
• Provide field intelligence to analytics, brand, and market access teams
