Job summary

Dell Medical School, in collaboration with Ascension Texas, seeks Advanced Practice Nurses or Physician Assistants for the Institute for Cardiovascular Health to deliver world-class adult cardiovascular and thoracic care with a multidisciplinary team.

The APP/PA will split time between telemetry and clinic, delivering patient-centred care in both outpatient and inpatient settings and collaborating with supervising physicians.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited training program.
• Board certification by NCCPA for PAs or by AANPCB/ANCC for APRNs.
• Licensed to practice in the state (Texas license referenced).

Responsibilities

• Performs health assessments, screening, and patient care.
• Provides direct treatment and management with prescriptive authority or referral.
• Documents delivery of health care and nursing processes per standards.
