Job summary

Dell Medical School, in collaboration with Ascension Texas, seeks Advanced Practice Nurses or Physician Assistants to join the Institute for Cardiovascular Health. The APP/PA will work with a multidisciplinary team to deliver world-class adult cardiovascular and thoracic surgical care on a regional scale.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited training program and board certified by the respective accreditation body.

Responsibilities

• Perform health assessments and patient screenings.
• Provide direct treatment and management via prescriptive authority or referral to other providers.
• Document delivery of health care in accordance with specialty standards and policy.
• Collaborate with supervising physicians as part of a multidisciplinary team.
• Split clinical time between telemetry floor and clinic, in/out-patient settings.
