Job summary

The Dell Medical School in conjunction with Ascension Texas, seeks Advanced Practice Nurses or Physician Assistants to support the Institute for Cardiovascular Health. The APP/PA will work with a multidisciplinary team to deliver world-class adult cardiovascular and thoracic surgical care to the regional population, across outpatient and inpatient settings.

Reporting to supervising physicians, this role expands individualized healthcare services by diagnosing and treating adult cardiovascular

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited training program and board certified.
• Physician Assistant with NCCPA certification and Texas Medical Board license.
• APN with Prescriptive Authority and certification (AANPCB/ANCC) and Texas Board of Nursing license.
• Ability to work with physicians and a multi-disciplinary care team.

Responsibilities

• Performs health assessments, screening, and patient care.
• Delivers treatment and manages conditions via prescribing or referrals.
• Documents delivery of health care per standards and network policies.
