Job summary

Dell Medical School, in collaboration with Ascension Texas, seeks Advanced Practice Nurses or Physician Assistants for the Institute for Cardiovascular Health to deliver world-class cardiovascular care. The APP/PA will split clinical time between telemetry and clinic, providing patient-centered care in outpatient and inpatient settings.

The role emphasizes team collaboration, rigorous assessment, and compassionate care, with potential prescriptive responsibilities and multidisciplinary support

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited training program and board certified by the respective accreditation body.
• Physician Assistant with board certification from the NCCPA and licensed through the Texas Medical Board.
• Advanced Practice Nurse Practitioner with Prescriptive Authority and board certification through the AANPCB or ANCC and licensed through the Texas Board of Nursing.

Responsibilities

• Performs health assessments, screening, and patient care.
• Provides direct treatment and management of conditions via prescriptive authority or referral to other healthcare providers or community resources.
• Documents delivery of health care and nursing processes in accordance with specific specialty area standards and network nursing policy.
