Job summary

Dell Medical School, in collaboration with Ascension Texas, seeks Advanced Practice Nurses or Physician Assistants for the Institute for Cardiovascular Health. The APP/PA will split time between the telemetry floor and clinic, delivering patient-centered care in outpatient and inpatient settings.

Responsibilities include health assessments, treatment with prescriptive authority or referrals, and thorough documentation.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited training program and board certified by the respective accreditation body.
• Ability to collaborate with supervising physicians and multidisciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

• Performs health assessments, screening, and patient care.
• Provides direct treatment and management of conditions via prescriptive authority or referral to other providers.
• Documents delivery of health care and nursing processes in accordance with specialty standards and network policy.
• Capacity to work well with physicians and other care providers as part of a multi-disciplinary team.
