Job summary

Mount Carmel Health System is seeking a Registered Cardiovascular Sonographer to perform echocardiography studies and report preliminary findings for physician interpretation. You will ensure patient comfort, review orders, and document data accurately within organizational guidelines.

The role requires a minimum of one year in cardiovascular imaging, ARRT/ARDMS or CCI credentials, and active BLS. Relocation and benefits are included with a rotating shift in a full-time capacity.

Qualifications

• Education credentials and licensure as required in the field.
• Minimum one year cardiovascular imaging experience preferred.
• Active BLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Reviews physician orders and identifies patients accurately.
• Performs echocardiography studies per policy and accreditation guidelines.
• Explains procedures to patients and ensures comfort.
• Obtains health history and documents data accurately.
• Maintains and troubleshoots equipment and participates in equipment evaluation.
