Mount Carmel is seeking a Registered Cardiovascular Sonographer (Echo) for a full-time day shift. The role focuses on echocardiography diagnostic testing with standard accreditation guidelines and reports preliminary findings for physician interpretation.

Responsibilities include patient identification, study performance, data entry, and collaboration across departments. Requires ARDMS/CCI certifications or registry eligibility and BLS; 1 year cardiovascular imaging preferred.

Formación

• Education and licensure per above; ARRT or ARDMS/CCI certifications required.
• Minimum 1 year cardiovascular imaging experience preferred.
• BLS certification required.
• Must lift and move patients and equipment.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision.

Responsabilidades

• Reviews physician orders to ensure correct procedure and correctly identifies patients.
• Performs all studies according to policy and procedures and standards established by accrediting body.
• Obtains, documents and verifies health history; ensures accuracy of reports prior to dispatch.
• Communicates patient data to team members and collaborates with other departments.
• Knowledgeable of equipment; participates in evaluation of new equipment and maintenance.
• Maintains registry status, completes competencies, and participates in accreditation activities.
• Uses clinical information systems and timekeeping/related software effectively.
• Supports PI efforts and data collection through department monitors.

ARRT Radiologic Technologist certification or registry eligible
