Job summary

Mount Carmel Health System is seeking an experienced Cardiovascular Sonographer to perform echocardiography and/or vascular testing. The role supports physician interpretation and adheres to accreditation guidelines, standards and organizational policies.

Qualified candidates will have ARDMS credentials (RVT/RDCS/RCS/RVS) or equivalent, BLS certification, and at least one year of cardiovascular imaging experience.

Qualifications

• ARDMS RVT/RDCS/RCS/RVS certification required or equivalent.
• BLS certification required.
• Minimum one year experience in cardiovascular imaging preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform Echocardiography and/or vascular diagnostic testing per guidelines.
• Report preliminary findings for physician interpretation.
• Adhere to organization policies, procedures and quality standards.

Education

Associates or Bachelors degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography
