Job summary

Atrium Health Sanger Heart & Vascular Institute in Charlotte, NC, seeks a full-time Adult Cardiothoracic Surgery Advanced Practice Provider to join an established team. The role supports inpatient and outpatient cardiothoracic care with a supervising physician, offering autonomy, a collaborative environment, and opportunities for professional growth.

Applicants should be NP or PA graduates with NC licensure, prescriptive privileges, and BLS/ACLS.

Qualifications

• Graduated from an accredited NP or PA program and must hold current NC license.
• Prescriptive privileges and DEA license required.
• BLS/ACLS certification required or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate, provide, and assist in comprehensive cardiothoracic patient care.
• Perform assessment, diagnosis, treatment, education, and referrals with supervising physician.
• Work with inpatient teams, MDs, APPs, and ancillary staff.
• Rotating four 10-hour shifts with weekend coverage and occasional travel.
