Advocate Health Sanger Heart & Vascular Institute – Charlotte, NC is seeking a full-time Adult Cardiothoracic Surgery Advanced Practice Provider to join an established practice in Charlotte, NC. The role includes assessment and treatment in collaboration with a supervising physician, with no OR duties but exposure to OR settings. Night shifts are 12 hours, 7 on/7 off, 84 hours per pay period, with travel to other sites possible.

Qualifications

• Licensed NP or PA in North Carolina with prescriptive privileges and DEA
• BLS/ACLS certified
• NCCPA certification for PA or Acute Care NP certification for NP
• Experience in cardiology, cardiothoracic or vascular surgery preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assess, diagnose, and treat in collaboration with supervising physician.
• Maintain clinical competence for age and development of patients served.
• Work independently with strong decision-making and communication skills with a multidisciplinary team.
• Shift: Nocturnist, 12-hour shifts, 7 on/7 off, night shift, 84 hours per pay period.
• Possible travel to other sites; no OR responsibilities but exposure to OR setting possible.
