Job summary

Atrium Health Sanger Heart & Vascular Institute – Charlotte, is currently seeking a Full-Time Adult Cardiothoracic Surgery Advanced Practice Provider to join their established practice in Charlotte, NC. You'll be joining a great team atmosphere with opportunities for autonomy.

Ideal candidates include graduates from an accredited NP or PA program with NC license, prescriptive privileges and DEA license, BLS/ACLS certification, and NCCPA or Acute Care NP certification.

Qualifications

• Graduated from an accredited NP/PA program and NC license to practice.
• Current prescriptive privileges and DEA license required.
• BLS/ACLS certification is required.
• NCCPA certification for Physician Assistants or Acute Care NP certification.
• Experience in cardiology, cardiothoracic, or vascular surgery preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate, provide, and assist in delivering comprehensive cardio-thoracic patient care with supervising physician.
• Perform assessment, diagnosis, treatment, education, referral, and consultation in collaboration with supervising physician.
• Maintain clinical and professional competency suitable for patients' age and needs; work independently with sound decision-making.
• Collaborate with MDs, APPs and staff for inpatient management and care coordination.
