Atrium Health Sanger Heart & Vascular Institute – Concord is seeking an Adult Cardiothoracic Surgery Advanced Practice Provider to join their established team in Concord, NC. You will provide care to cardiac and thoracic patients in the inpatient setting, working a rotating four 10-hour shift schedule with occasional weekend coverage.

Ideal candidates hold NC NP/PA licensure, current prescriptive privileges and a DEA license.

Qualifications

• Graduated from an accredited NP or PA program and maintain a current NC license.
• Prescriptive privileges and DEA license required.
• BLS/ACLS certification required.
• NCCPA certification required for Physician Assistants.
• Acute Care NP Certification required for Nurse Practitioners.

Responsibilities

• Provide care to cardiac and thoracic surgery patients in inpatient setting.
• Work in a rotating four, 10-hour shift schedule with rotating weekend coverage.
• Possible travel to other sites as needed.
