Sutter West Bay Medical Group is seeking a full-time Cardiothoracic Surgeon to join a growing Bay Area program in San Francisco, CA. The role emphasizes collaboration with cardiology, intensivists, and multidisciplinary teams to deliver advanced surgical care.

Open to experienced surgeons and fellows; opportunity to contribute to expanding access to cardiovascular services in the Bay Area.

Qualifications

• MD or DO from an accredited medical school.
• Completion of an accredited Cardiothoracic Surgery residency or current fellowship enrollment.
• Board Certification or Board Eligible in Thoracic Surgery; preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive cardiothoracic surgical care in inpatient and outpatient settings.
• Perform a broad range of cardiac and thoracic procedures, elective and urgent.
• Evaluate patients with CAD, valve disease, aortic disease, tumors, and complex issues.
• Collaborate with cardiologists, electrophysiologists, pulmonologists, and intensivists.
• Participate in multidisciplinary conferences and quality initiatives.
• Maintain documentation in Epic EHR and support program development.
