Baptist Health Louisville is seeking a Scheduling Coordinator to manage patient appointments and diagnostic tests for the Cardiovascular/ Vascular Services team. You will coordinate registrations, insurance information, referrals, and pre-certifications, and confirm all scheduled visits.

The role requires clerical experience in a physician office and proficiency with scheduling software. Attention to accuracy in the electronic scheduling system is essential.

Formación

• High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
• 1-3 years clerical experience in a physician office preferred.
• Computer knowledge such as Medical Office and Scheduling Applications preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Schedule appointments and diagnostic tests/procedures for patients.
• Obtain registrations, insurance information, referrals and pre-certifications.
• Confirm patient appointments and hospital procedures; update cards and communicate information as needed.
• Verify accuracy of scheduling in the electronic system.
