Baptist Health Cardiovascular/ Vascular Services is seeking a Scheduling Coordinator to manage appointments and diagnostic tests for patients. You will verify registrations, insurance information, referrals, and pre-certifications, ensuring accurate scheduling for hospital procedures and follow-up visits.

The role involves coordinating with providers, updating schedules, and maintaining patient information across the electronic scheduling system to support smooth clinical workflows.

Formación

• High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
• One to three years clerical experience in a physician office preferred.
• Computer knowledge such as Medical Office and Scheduling Applications preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Schedule appointments and diagnostic tests/procedures for all patients.
• Obtain registration, insurance coverage, referrals and pre-certifications as needed.
• Verify accuracy of diagnostic testing and hospital procedure schedules in the scheduling system.
