Job summary

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 2 years medical practice experience preferred.
• Cardiology experience preferred.
• Working knowledge with EMR (eClinicalWorks preferred).
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent organizational skills.
• Knowledge of HIPAA rules and regulations.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Schedule patient appointments and diagnostic tests according to provider availability and clinic guidelines.
• Verify patient demographics and insurance information prior to scheduling.
• Check in/out patients, collect co-pays, and ensure accurate billing details.
• Inbound and outbound calls, appointment requests, cancellations, and rescheduling.
• Provide excellent customer service while addressing patient questions and concerns.
• Maintain a high level of accuracy in appointment scheduling and documentation.
• Travel to various Practice locations as needed for coverage.
