Job summary

You will verify insurance, obtain pre-authorizations, and maintain accurate documentation in eClinicalWorks while collaborating with cardiologists and staff to ensure smooth scheduling and quality patient care.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Minimum 2 years medical practice experience preferred.
• Cardiology experience preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Word, Internet.
• Knowledge of HIPAA rules & regulations.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and schedule cardiology procedures, tests, and consultations based on physician recommendations and patient preferences.
• Maintain patient records and documentation in charts for all patient care.
• Verify patient insurance eligibility and obtain necessary pre-authorizations.
• Input all patient data and keep up to date information on all patients.
• Communicate with patients to provide necessary information regarding scheduled procedures and preparation instructions.
• Coordinate scheduling with Cardiologists, APPs, and other healthcare professionals to optimize efficiency.
