Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Two (2) years related experience in a health care organization is required.
• Previous healthcare scheduling experience.
• Strong communication skills with patient communications.
• Excellent customer skills, in person and via telephone.
• Proficient computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and coordinate the surgery schedule for patients and physicians.
• Schedule appointments and pre-certifications; verify insurance.
• Prepare pre-operative tests and arrange supplies.
• Provide patient arrival instructions and answer questions.
• Document interactions in EMR and manage patient payments.
• Greet patients and handle calls and messages accurately.
