Job summary

Vanderbilt Health is seeking an Associate Patient Service Specialist to support patients before, during and after appointments. You will facilitate scheduling, coordinate with clinics and external facilities, and ensure smooth patient flow through registration and work queues.

This role requires strong communication, attention to detail and the ability to use hospital systems to route orders and access patient information via the patient portal.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1 year of relevant work experience preferred.
• Proficient with scheduling systems and patient communication.

Responsibilities

• Proficiently perform all Associate Patient Service Specialist tasks.
• Schedule appointments and procedures via clinical communication and patient portals.
• Manage registration and patient work queues.
• Coordinate with patients and outside facilities for pre-appointment orders.
