Plainfield Medical Center, part of Franciscan Health, is seeking a Patient Service Representative to greet patients, verify demographics and insurance, and register new patients. The role supports clinic flow with a Monday–Friday schedule from 7:30am to 4:30pm, emphasizing warm customer service and accurate EMR data entry.

Requirements include a High School Diploma or GED; preferred 1 year in Primary Care/Office and 1 year of customer service.

Qualifications

• Preferred 1 year in Primary Care/Office environment.
• Preferred 1 year of customer service experience.

Responsabilités

• Greet and direct patients, family members and visitors.
• Answer incoming calls and respond to inquiries or route to staff.
• Schedule appointments and enter data into scheduling system.
• Register patients and update demographic and insurance information in EMR.
• Communicate with clinical staff to maintain patient flow.
• Collect payments and balance daily encounter forms.
