Job summary

Bayer is seeking an Institutional & Specialty Sales Consultant for Cardiology in Los Angeles. You will drive clinical demand, educate healthcare professionals, and develop strategic plans for top institutions, balancing efficacy and safety in detailing approved information.

You’ll build key relationships with hospitals and health systems, manage P&T processes, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to advance cardiovascular-renal therapies in both institutional and community settings.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or 10 years of relevant sales experience in lieu of a Bachelor's degree.
• Deep expertise in cardiovascular and/or renal therapy areas.
• Experience launching new products and indications.
• Excellent facilitation and verbal/written communication skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet short deadlines.
• Ability to comply with customer credentialing and safety requirements.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Drive clinical demand, education and sales to educate healthcare professionals and stakeholders on product benefits.
• Build institutional advocacy to drive formulary and protocol adoption for cardiovascular-renal brands.
• Develop and implement strategic business plans for top institutions with market insights.
• Demonstrate disease-state knowledge and analytical skills to identify opportunities and challenges.
• Build relationships with key stakeholders at institutions including C/D-suite and cardiology/nephrology leaders.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to pull through strategic partnerships with key customers.
• Support Area General Managers on strategic projects as needed.
• Leverage emerging technologies to enhance performance and efficiency.
• Adhere to pharmaceutical industry guidelines and uphold high ethical standards.
