Job summary

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.

• Must be patient, courteous, and tactful.
• Ability to communicate and relate well with office staff, ancillary departments and the public.
• Ability to follow direction, accept orders and perform repetitive tasks.
• Computer literate in use of word processing and email.

Responsibilities

• Provide administrative support throughout the practice under supervision of the provider/practice leader.
• Be the first point of contact (phone and in-person) for the office, screening calls and greeting patients.
• Handle check-out duties including co-pay collection, scheduling follow-ups, and day-end reconciliations.
