Baptist Health in Jacksonville, FL is hiring an experienced Office Specialist for the Cardiology department at Baptist South. This full-time days position supports patient registration, chart preparation, and coordination of medical records within EPIC.

You will handle high-volume calls, schedule appointments, and ensure a positive patient experience according to our service principles. A high school diploma or GED is required, with 1–2 years front desk or medical office experience preferred.

• 1–2 years front desk experience preferred.
• Experience in a medical office preferred.
• High school diploma or GED required.

Mansioni

• Answer telephone protocols and manage calls.
• Serve as liaison between patients and the practice.
• Schedule appointments and prepare patient charts.
• Submit and obtain external medical records.
• Coordinate with vendors for medical record requests.
• Follow call scripts and identify customer needs.
• Data entry and provide excellent customer service.
• Manage medical records in EPIC.
• Additional duties as assigned.
