Advocate Health Care’s Aurora Medical Group is seeking a part-time Patient Service Representative to support cardiovascular and thoracic clinics in Milwaukee. The role focuses on scheduling, registration, billing, and providing high-quality patient interactions in a fast-paced ambulatory setting.

The position is per diem with no weekends or holidays, standard business hours, and a pay range of $19.80 to $29.70 per hour. Prior customer service experience and a high school diploma are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• One to two years related customer service experience.
• Experience handling difficult caller/customers/patients.

Responsibilities

• Patient Services: Provides efficient, high-quality service to patients who arrive for appointments or who telephone or visit in person to request appointments or information on tests and procedures, bills and charges, referrals, and other matters.
• Billing Services: Ensures entry at time of service of billing information on the patient and payer and accurate follow-up on missing information.
• Medical Record Services: Upholds standards of the practice and of the medical group for accurate and timely medical records.
