Job summary

Advocate Health in Charlotte, NC is seeking a Cardiac Sonographer I–IV to perform echocardiograms across multiple sites, including emergent cases and portable exams. The role requires strong communication with physicians and patients, and adherence to protocols.

Eligible for sign-on bonus and career development opportunities; schedule is Monday–Friday, 8:00 am–4:30 pm with weekend/on-call coverage as needed. 40 hours per week, full-time.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• ARRT(S), RDMS and/or RDCS registration within one year of hire.
• BLS/CPR certification required.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine and emergency echocardiograms per protocols.
• Record quality data and prepare preliminary reports for Cardiologist.
• Explain procedures and potential side effects to patients and families.
• Provide service across locations, with shift and on-call coverage as scheduled.
• Maintain and troubleshoot echocardiography equipment and EMR systems.
