Advocate Health in High Point, North Carolina is seeking a skilled Cardiac Sonographer to perform comprehensive echocardiography across multiple sites. Requires AMA‑approved ultrasound training and credentialing, with an Associate's degree preferred, and BLS certification.

Formación

• Graduate of AMA approved School of Radiologic Technology, AMA approved ultrasound program, or CMA accredited program.
• Associate's degree preferred; one year patient care experience preferred.
• Registered RDMS/RDCS or RCS via ARDMS/CCI preferred; must be registered within two years of hire.
• Current BLS certification required.

Responsabilidades

• Perform routine and emergency echocardiograms including 2D/3D, Doppler, transesophageal, and stress studies.
• Record and maintain quality information for echocardiographic studies.
• Explain procedures and potential side effects to patients and families.
• Provide echocardiography services across locations and on-call coverage as scheduled.
• Operate and maintain echo equipment and related systems; troubleshoot when needed.
• Prepare preliminary reports for Cardiologist review and participate in quality improvement activities.
• Instruct students, fellows, or health personnel as requested.
